Children’s Services

Our nursery is an inviting, carpeted space just down the hall from the sanctuary. Care is offered at the 10:15 service for children through age three.  Bethel Arbuckle is in charge, every Sunday morning.

Children’s Church is the hottest thing in town.  Every week, clergy, parents, and children gather in the Chapel for Bible stories, prayers, activities, and fun.  We begin every Sunday morning at 9:30 by lighting the candles and continue with…

Goliath won't defeat David!

Stories.  Over the course of the year, participants in Children’s Church will learn the highlights of Biblical faith, through a carefully chosen sequence of stories: for example, the Tower of Babel, Noah and the Ark, and the Journey to Bethlehem.

Activities.  Each week children have a chance to participate in an activity connected with the story.

Prayer.  Children’s Church is a time of worship.

Offering and Service.  Children are encouraged to make weekly offerings, and to decide together on a project to fund with those offerings.  This past Christmas, children used the offerings they had collected to fill stockings for families Grace was sponsoring through the Giving Tree.  There will  be more opportunities for service during the coming year–chances to “love our neighbors.”
